· Less than 1% of men & 4% of women ages 18 to 24
· Less than 6% of men & 9% of women ages 25 to 34
· Less than 14% of men & 16% of women ages 35 to 49

Eating the proper amounts of fruits and veggies each day has been shown to promote energy, heart health and overall wellness.
Keys to Look For When Choosing a Fruits & Veggies Supplement
  • Doctor Formulated - We think it's important that we only take supplements from respected medical doctors, their years of experience often leads to some really amazing formulations that you can trust to put into your body.
  • Strong Money Back Guarantee - With all the products out there it makes sense to spend your money with companies willing to back their product without conditions.
  • Third Party Lab Tested - When it comes to your body you should feel comfortable that the product has been independently lab tested by a third party
  • Value For Your Money - Look for a brand that provides you with a valuable product for an affordable price.
  • Key Nutrients In A Single Serving - For our review, we started by looking for products that provide many key nutrients in a single supplement.
  • Clear Labeling - When a supplement does not clearly state how much of the key ingredients are inside, or the supplement repeats the same ingredients under different proprietary blends  it's could be a sign that they're hiding something. We like brands that are fully transparent about what you're putting into your body.
We did our homework and researched tons of supplements, here are the some of the ones we found that meet our key factors above to help with your recommended daily nutrition needs.

Best Health Supplement Reviews

In 1993, I decided to open up a Day Health Spa and Salon from scratch, which became Top Rated and was featured in Allure, Self and Glamour magazines under Sensational Salons and Spas of Orange County.

This is where I first learned to be very careful when choosing products like supplements. I realized how much deception was going on and taught myself how to read labels, understand the different ingredients, and see past the hype.

While helping clients at my Health Spa, I realized that many people were having similar life issues as my own, tired all the time, difficulty with focus, sleep issues, nutrition problems, and most importantly a sluggish metabolism!

Many of them started using natural whole food supplements every day in order to lose weight, have more energy, improve digestion and really boost their overall health, etc.

We started looking into the different greens, fruit and vegetable whole food supplements we heard about, and new ones we've researched online, and finally try to make sense of what’s out there. We've tried many of the top products ourselves and realized that there is a difference, in many cases a big one. All we can say is buyers should be well informed!

So we decided to do a lot of quality research & start this site to help people like you make the best choices for their health and well being. We really hope that the information here is helpful.

Pros

  • Doctor Formulated
  • Naturally Derived Ingredients
  • Non GMO & Gluten Free
  • Reliable Customer Support
  • Very Affordable Price
  • 90-Day Risk-Free Guarantee
  • No Subscription or Membership Fee
  • 3rd Party Lab Tested

Cons

  • Shipping Took An Extra Day
  • Not In Major Retailers

The Bottom Line

Pure Nature by KaraMD takes the #1 spot for many reasons. It is the one that contains a rather healthy amount of naturally derived key ingredients disclosed on its supplement facts panel.

Doctor Formulated blend conveniently provides wholesome greens, fruits and veggies to create a nutrient-rich superfood as a great way to help you feel amazing all day.

It can be healthy to eat a good blend of fiber from greens, fruits & veggies, which has been known to give you a big metabolism punch. Fiber is also an important part of your daily diet. A healthy daily diet can promote more energy, healthy digestion & general wellness. It appears that Pure Nature hits the mark here with its affordable doctor formulated blend.

They also offer a 90-Day Risk-Free Money Back Guarantee on all their products with NO extra fees or subscription hassles. In this day and age it says something when a brand puts their money where their mouth is.

Pure Nature also contains no soybeans and is Non GMO, Gluten Free & Vegan Friendly.

What we like the most is that you only have to take 4 capsules of Pure Nature once per day to get this supplement's healthy serving of key greens, fruits and veggies.

At only $39.95 for a 30 day supply it is also much cheaper than the competition and it comes with a 90 day risk-free guarantee and no subscription hassles.

Pros

  • Doctor Formulated
  • Naturally Derived Ingredients
  • Non GMO & Gluten Free
  • Reliable Customer Support

Cons

  • More Expensive
  • 30-Day Conditional Return Policy
  • Subscription & Membership Fees
  • Returns Require Authorization
  • Not Clear on Lab Testing
  • Contains Soybeans
  • Requires Six (6) Daily Capsules

The Bottom Line

Balance of Nature secures the second spot on our list. This product is well known, but in our personal opinion it may have some notable shortcomings, especially given its much higher price.

This product does contains naturally derived ingredients in its proprietary blends, including fiber.
HOWEVER it is much more expensive than our #1 Pick at $89.95 for JUST a 30-day supply...AND if you don't pay an extra $24.95 membership fee AND sign up for subscription pricing you don't get a guarantee.
In this day and age keeping your supplement routine simple really matters for people who are trying to stay health. In our opinion taking more capsules from more bottles makes it more inconvenient.

Keep in mind that getting Two (2) bottles and taking Six (6) capsules DOES NOT necessarily mean more nutritional value to the consumer!!!

Unfortunately, Balance of Nature also contains soybeans which is known to be a dangerous allergen concern for some people. What were they thinking when adding soybeans to their formula?

Soybeans are low in nutrition value, can contain problematic substances like phytic acid, can cause allergies, and are already in many processed foods.

With fruits and veggies supplements, you have to trust that the company hasn’t bulked up the cheaper ingredients, such as the use of soybeans. This sometimes may be done regardless of whether their amounts of other key ingredients in the blend are sufficient.

In our personal opinion, Balance of Nature falls short of the mark in several respects, because of the soybean allergen concern, the higher number of required daily capsules, and the complicated & less appealing return policy.
Again, from an economic standpoint, Balance of Nature is also significantly more expensive than our #1 Pick AND you have to pay a membership fee and sign up for a subscription to be eligible for the guarantee.

Pros

  • Variety Of Good Ingredients
  • Non GMO & Gluten Free
  • Reliable Customer Support
  • Well Known
  • 3rd Party Lab Tested

Cons

  • More Expensive
  • Not Doctor Formulated
  • 60-Day Return Policy
  • Contains Soy-Derived Ingredients
  • Only Comes In Powder Form

The Bottom Line

Athletic Greens lands our third place ranking. This product is very well known and is a healthy formula. For me and my colleagues, however it missed the mark in several areas listed below.

This product does contain high quality & healthy key ingredients, such as fiber. HOWEVER it is also much more expensive than our #1 Pick at $99.00 for JUST a 30-day supply... AND if for some reason you don't like it, they ONLY have a 60-day return policy.

Again with fruits and veggies supplements, you have to be careful and confirm that the company hasn’t bulked up the cheaper ingredients. Athletic Greens does also contain vitamins and minerals that may NOT be naturally derived.

Unfortunately, it also contains soy derived ingredients, which are known to be a dangerous allergen concern for some people.

While Athletic Greens does contain some important added ingredients like probiotics, we think it can be rather inconvenient for people on the go since it only comes in powder form.

Also, in our experience, many greens powder supplements taste awful so they become very hard to drink and people tend to lose interest in them.

In our personal opinion, Athletic Greens falls short of a better ranking since it's an inconvenient powder form, can be subject to taste issues and contains soy derived ingredients.

Economically Athletic Greens is more expensive than our #1 pick $99.00 for JUST a 30-day supply.
